Quick talks about watching Greg Oden run the hills of Tigard with Nate McMillan and trainer Jay Jensen, the status of Darius Miles, LaMarcus Aldridge's big play recently, Brandon Roy's minutes as the season winds down, and much more.

And I, as always, keep it monotone and chew on my words exceptionally. Enjoy.

  • 07/23/10--14:36: Trail Blazers podcast with Jason Quick: Will Portland make a run at Chris Paul? (chan 1072931)
  • Inside the Trail Blazers on Rich Cho, Wesley Matthews, Chris Paul, Rudy Fernandez and more

I spoke with Jason Quick today and, as always, he had much to offer on the state of the Trail Blazers, including Rich Cho, Chris Paul and Wesley Matthews (listen to the full podcast below).

    • Quick on Rich Cho: "I don't think they're bringing him in here just to sit on his hands. ... That's his directive, I think, to make this team a contender, and make it a contender for next season."

    • Quick on Chris Paul: "I think the Blazers will certainly make a run at this. ... Portland is in a unique position because they have young talent and two hefty expiring contracts. ... If (the Hornets) want Greg (Oden) in there instead of maybe a (Jerryd) Bayless, then that probably becomes a little more painful for Portland to think about."
